Today I would like to present the books, mainly in the field of personal development/positive mindset, which I’ve read last year and from which I’ve learned a lot and where I had some aha moments every so often. Have fun!
The Why café by John Strelecky
What a beautiful story – which is so profound and really makes you think about your life and the meaning it should have, but with a lot of ease and without any pressure.
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
This is my absolute favourite. It has changed how I look at life in a positive way and even allowed me to start forgiving (which, in my opinion, is essential, I’m just saying Hooponopono for the insiders among you). In addition, I had many aha moments and finally understood many things not only intellectually, but also truly.
Let me tell you a story by Jorge Bucay (unfortunately I couldn’t find the English version on Amazon)
A story full of stories. For almost every situation in life, a short story is told that gets to the heart of it. Absolutely inspiring and easy to read.
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
The book with which many come into contact with the law of attraction or manifesting for the first time. Absolutely great and coherent with very motivating stories that make you want to know more about this topic.
The Success Principles by Jack Canfield
If you want ‘more’ in your life, this book is highly recommended because it motivates and shows you ways how to achieve your goals. Also very thrilling and a great introduction for aspiring “manifesters”.
Unbox your life by Tobias Beck (only available in German)
I wanted to include this book, because the author is very well known in the field of personal development in Germany. A nice book, which is definitely good to read and which makes you smile often. Nevertheless, I had a critical eye on it and I have to say that other books have way more depth.
Breaking the habit of being yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza
This author is also very well known in the field of personal development. Anyone who wants to work hard and get the best out of themselves should read this book. The author manages to explain extremely complex neuronal processes in an understandable way. He is also known for his retreats which take place worldwide.
Your body’s telling you: Love yourself by Lise Bourbeau
A book that makes you look deeper into yourself and shows where there might be topics that still need to be solved. It basically describes all diseases and their causes. Definitely an interesting book which gives a lot of food for thought, but also should be seen critically in some places, because in my opinion there is not only black and white.
Medical Medium by Anthony William
This book describes, similar to the previous one, diseases and their causes as well as tips on how to cure those with certain foods. The all-healing celery juice came from this author. Definitely worth reading if you are interested in these topics.
Other books I’d like to read next are:
- Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch
- Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki
- The road to financial freedom: Earn your first million in seven years by Bodo Schäfer
- Out of your mind by Alan Watts
- The Awakening of the Intelligence by Jiddu Krishnamurti
- The Robbins Power Principle by Anthony Robbins
I hope you enjoyed my book list. Please leave me a comment if you can recommend other great books, or if you have already read one of the ones I mentioned. I’m looking forward to read from you!
